History

The Agriturismo is born from the devotion to the work of Mr. Piero that has been cultivated for over 50 years his farm and for that reason in the year 2007 he received the Certificate for Fidelity to the Work from the Chamber of Commerce of Pesaro and Urbino. Not by chance, Delvecchio's is one of the most ancient family of the town of Serrungarina. It is known that since around 1660, this family had already existed and that lived and always worked in the same area. "Al Mandorlo" extends on 18 hectares cultivated to cereals, forage, olive trees, vineyards, vegetables and orchards, with courtyards animals. It is a farmstead developed on two floors, with 4 double rooms and 6 triple rooms. It is surrounded by gardens where you can play, read without being disturbed and admire a suggestive view on the farm and on the surrounding hills of the various regions.

On the first floor the rooms are wide and comfortable, soberly furnished and also suitable to accomodate newlyweds. On the ground floor the rooms have independent entries and they are more suitable to accomodate groups and families. A stay in our agriturismo is ideal to spend a vacation away from the chaos of the city, but without renouncing to the confort of the swimming pool with hydromassage, the green area of the playgarden, walking in our estate around the ìpoet's cornerî, reaching the run of the trekking of the Metauro, going on for old farms and up again for the ìLittle Church of the Graveî. At the last, but not the least, a good hand-made cooking prepared in the adjacent restaurant of our ownership, where you can taste oil of olive with bruschetta, jams with cheese, wines with meats and marinated olives with vegetables. It is also possible to purchase all those products.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool recently built is situated inside the park, framed by the green of the olive trees and by the intense red of the roses. With its oval shape, you can find in its most narrow side a hydromassage pool. Ideal to spend days in relax and calm.

Events

Serrungarina is the country of the crip. It is mechanized, open from Christmas to Easter. In the month of February: the Carnival, with parade of wagons and throwing of the candies. In the first weekend of July: the historical rievokation of the reaping, proposing the old operations of the reaping and the threshing, with the showing of utensils and tools of that age. In the last weekend of August: the party of the Angelic Pear, where you can taste particular courses like ravioli stuffed with pears and gorgonzola cheese, chocolate cakes with pears. During the same period it is organized the track event competition.

Surroundings

Our geographical position is ideal to visit our hinterland. Mombaroccio, situated nearby, with its medieval castle, its church and its cloister, where you can visit the collection of the tools of the farmers' civilization and the showroom of the embroidery. "The Hermitage of Blessed Sante", situated in the thickness of the wood, destination of so many believers. Mondavio, an imposing "Della Rovere" fortress, with its historical rievokation in the month of August of the hunting to the wild boar, and with its rich collection of the armies. Fossombrone, a town rich in historical and artistic value thanks to the innumerable Churches and historical buildings, also ideal destination for a walk in the park in the Cesane or the Cappuccini Urbino, Raffaello's native town, famous for its Ducal Palace and its universities. Gradara, "La Rocca" with its square form, it is here that Paolo and Francesca remembered by Dante lived their tormented love story. Loreto, believers' destination, with its Maria's House mooved from Nazareth. Recanati, Giacomo Leopardi's town, with its small square of "Il sabato del Villaggio" and "II colle dell'Infinito".

Restaurant

The restaurant is a farmstead recently rebuilt, with a large dining room furnished with care to make your events unique thanks to the particular friendly atmosphere. A panoramic terrace with its splendid view, where you can admire the surrounding mountains, the swimming pool ideal to spend some time in full relax, a play garden for children, a wide car park also suitable to welcome groups arriving by bus, and then a garden where you can eat in the open air. The cooking is traditional, all the courses are rigorously hand made and accompanied by good wine of the house. The menu also offers particular courses, like ravioli stuffed with pears and gorgonzola cheese, delicious horse d'oeuvre and fogliole with smoked ham. All of that is ideal to reserve marriages, ceremonies, buffets, banquets and business lunches.

Comitive

Thanks to the wide car park and the large dining room, the restaurant can accomodated groups of tourists arriving by bus. They can stop for lunch or dinner time, with touristic menu or with delicious snacks, tasting our typical products, all under moderate prices.
